In case you dont know, there are 7 continents on planet earth namely : Asia, Africa, Antarctica, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America.

There is no doubt that Asia is the largest continent in the world both in terms of area and population. The giant continent covers nearly 9% of the total surface of the planet earth with over 4.16 billion people living on it.

Statistics shows that Asia contains about 60% of the total human population on earth and the remainder 40% of people live on other six continents. This geographical entity is having two most populous countries of the world, i.e. India and China. Both of these countries are known as the highly important business hubs all over the world.

Note - there are more than 14 million people who don't live on any of these 7 continents. Almost all of these people live in the island countries of Oceania, a world region but not a continent.
